Time for a tea party

Tea Party? I thought it was for the girls with the curls with a little sip favorite aunt uncle. A movement in the last 18 months have been, or are bumped into the American consciousness to recall their history class in elementary school. At least I think I still teach in our public schools, right?

Boston Tea Party (short version)

It 'was a direct protest of our English settlers in the colony in 1773 in Boston, Massachusetts. It 'was a protestagainst the British government after officials refused to return to 3 shipments taxed tea in Britain. A few settlers on board vessels propelled and threw the tea into Boston Harbor to destroy it.

The tea was taxed by the British Parliament and the colonists would have nothing of it! They believed that they violated their right to be taxed ... be no more than their elected representatives. The question of how the UK is increasing all trade to Boston was closed and compensation made for the destroyedTea. The settlers rejected in 1775 and followed the American War of Independence in Boston.

Well, this is a tea party! A Boston Tea Party.

New Contemporary Tea Party is a dummy copy of the revolt in 1773 in Boston. Personally, I do not know what to do. Our political system and our business is now far from what was then removed. Consumer confidence in our elected representatives are at a historic low. It 'difficult, this modern tea party, whether it is truly define grassRoots or just another political party. I agree with some of the philosophy, but not necessarily leaders.

We need representation! Do we really?

In autumn 2008, our elected representatives have voted and approved a bank rescue Big Bill for 700 billion dollars, if their constituents have written a 100-1 vote no on the bill! This is not representation. Who can trust us on Capital Hill? I pray that this new party grass roots tea, by the people forthe people, and leading a revolution in the real representation of our nation. We ransacked by fear, and must end! 700 billion is small change ... think about it.

I think the event was born in 2008 in this new era tea party, and my hope is that it creates an awareness of our taxation without representation. God bless this beautiful country and give you peace.
